According to midlands today a B7RLE Eclipse 2 has wrapped itself around a tree in Edgbaston couldn't read the fleet number. Does anybody have any idea which bus it is or if it was a PN bus instead??? Cheers

Somebody had posted that it was 2140. Presumably on the 29/29A as the accident was at the Harborne Rd / Highfield Rd junction.

Have anymore E400s other than 4895-4899 4901-4904 been branded for the 45/47 yet. I haven't seen any others but it seems to be taking a while.

2140 is now at Carlyle for repairs.

I ponder...
Will this vehicle return to Birmingham Central in Crimson livery?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

We can only hope @LS would be nice to see what an Eclipse 2 B7RLE looks like crimson

Personally, I doubt it. Although, seeing what the (ever-so-similar) Dundee livery looks on 1779, etc... I can only presume it'll look nicer.

Very much doubt it - route by route for Crimson repaints and with PB's Scanias and E400s in, WA's Eclipse Urbans for Dundee, and WB E400s, can't see much room or point in redoing the 12 reg B7RLEs at this stage.

I suspect it may just get a front end red new paint job and come back looking like 2142, i.e. Looking weird without the black destination surround.

Once the emission rule takes place I wonder what the fate of the euro 4 will be, they may cover a certain route, like the 70, who knows.
