I've seen this on Facebook is it true
45/47 are getting the platinums that are on the YW6 and the 97 are going to have Enviro 400s
I heard the 45/47 were getting them months ago... and why can't the 97 get the Platinums exactly? And what point was there in giving the 6 Platinums for several months... they should of trapped more of the 45** Tridents and chucked them on the 6 last year...

All of Yardley Wood Trident's are trapped so not sure what you are on about?
Can I ask what you do for a living that you are so able to criticise management decision of another company?

If that was to happen, where would all the 97 branded Tridents going to go?

Where ever the commercial team decide where they want the newer buses I will do a plan that drops the oldest buses out the bottom

The 6 needed double deckers in order to boost capacity, the Platinums have been used as an 'interim' measure until the electric double decks arrive next year.

Does anyone know why there was two 97S' today? I saw a Scania and a E400 at Digbeth around 16:10 today.

Platinum on the 10H. Seems an overkill, when they've got B7RLE on the Uni routes.

Quite surprising that the X21 driver was telling a passenger that it doesn't go to Selly Oak, Sainsbury's in the City Centre about half an hour ago. 2134.

Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

As had been mentioned several times the 10H is on an X20 running board so is normally a Platinum

4896 has had a new overall advert applied today.

If anyone wants to see or photograph it, it should do the 17:11 and 18:50 journeys from city on the 60 route

The B7RLE comes off the staff bus and straight on the the Uni!

The card reader on 2137 still isn't working today, it had just been covered to stop people using it.

Just caught 2137 on the X22 and months later it still has a card scanner/ticket machine that aren't working.
The driver also missed the turn into Pritchatts Road, so had to reverse. Didn't think they were supposed to reverse with a full load of passengers?

We can not just
reverse a bus, a banksman is required, that is the law and not an NX policy.

Trident 4194

4367 on 63- lovely warm bus with a fair bit of power too

This is the second time I've seen a 23E terminating at California. The drivers don't seem to know where the turn; one parked up at the Wentworth way stop blocking the road  while the other one terminated at the Barnes Hill and then performed a very tight turn further up the road!
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

The California shorts always used to be by Barnes Hill, they'd go around the Island and park up at the California Way stop. At least that's what the 22E/23E/29E did.

Have NX changed the destination board for short journeys?
I've seen two buses on the 60 and they both read like this:
Yardley       60
via Coventry Road
If this is how they go about for short journeys then this is ridiculous for me considering that you're gonna get passengers who will ask why the 60 terminates at Yardley and not at Cranes Park.
