Which bus routes in the West Midlands have low bridges (bridges too small to fit a double decker under)?

Also, what is the lowest bridge on a bus route in the West Midlands?

I can start with the 297 and 5, and I have a feeling the WN81 might too as it never sees deckers, although I haven't done the full route yet

The 27, 28 & 71 are restricted to single deck, due to low bridges on all said routes. Also, does anyone remember this incident on the 139 (now 141):

Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters

Semi-local routes: 80, 87

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

The 81 has no low bridges (done it Wolverhampton to Merry Hill so I should know) I think it has seen a decker but am not sure.

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Yeah 4253 was repaired and eventually after going back to Central depot got sent to Perry Barr (I think) when the rest of the batch left!

Yeah, I believe it's in service at PB. I think the upper saloon was given the light blue interior that the 41** tridents have

The 98/99 can't have deckers, not cause of bridges but because of the trees on Wheeleys Road are only cut back to 11ft and Leech Green Lane is a bit hairy.

It didn't stay long at BC after the bump iirc.

Nice. Would like to see a pic.

There was only one guy upstairs at the point of incident according to the inspector, and the individual just got off and walked away. How much truth is in there I don't know.

The current 81 in its current form (Wolverhampton-Merry Hill) hasn't seen a double decker since July 2011. Its had Mercs,Excels,Solos,B6's and B7RLE's

50 and 51 in Redditch, the Railway Bridge over Hewell Road by the mini round-a-bouts. Tho that being said Diamond have used a Double Decker on the 51 but it was diverted via Station Rd/ Bromsgrove Rd then up/down Edward Street and Britten Street.
Midland Red West, one of the best Companies to serve Redditch, with some of the best buses.

I'm pretty sure the 120 is restricted due to a low bridge in Oldbury

No, you do occasionally get Enviro400s on the 120

PE have on occasion sent an Enviro400 on the 120.

Also, WB use double-decks when they operate the service on Boxing Day.

If you're talking about the AG 5 (Birmingham-Solihull), the regular allocation is Geminis. It's only Presidents that can't be used.
