I believe De Courcey operate various diagrams on the following NX services: 210, 310, 325, 384, 387, 410, 420, 460, 540, 661 & 777.

Probably best to ask Chris (ex-BC driver), he works for them now.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Lynx1103,

Yourbus are currently advertising for NX coach drivers, I'm assuming De Courcey rates/terms would be similar, so it should give you a realistic idea:

All de courcey coach work you start and finish at miller street. The summer 538 was an over night amd some nx work does involve over night. De courcey pay is quite complicated so ask them about it!! Travelstars in walsall I do know pay £8.75 they are after drivers, so are parks of hamilton plymouth & rochdale, whittles, go northern, yourbus, epsom coaches, and nx own ops at luton ajd start hill.

Now is definitely the time to become a NX Coach Driver if you are interested - both Whittles & DeCourcey are crying out for drivers.

DeCourcey generally have two main rotas, the Airports which is the 777 & 210 routes between Wolves/Birmingham - Heathrow/Gatwick & Birmingham - Stansted or the London's which is the 410/420 (Wolves/Birmingham - London), 460 (Coventry/Stratford - London), 325 (Birmingham - Manchester), 540 (London - Manchester) & 310 (Birmingham - Bradford). The 540 is worked in with 325/410 workings.  All duties start/end at Miller Street.

Whittles currently operate the 410 (Birmingham/Walsall - London), 444 (Worcester-London), 545 (Pwhelli - London) & 409 (Aberystwyth - London). Drivers from the Kidderminster depot mainly operate between Worcester/Birmingham & London (and return), with duties beginning & ending there.

I'm not sure if Travelstar are recruiting, but they operate the 210 (Wolves - Gatwick), 319 (Oxford - Bradford) & 320 (Birmingham - Bradford). Again, most duties start/end at the depot in Walsall.

There are very few 'overnight' duties from Midlands based depots.
