I think they meant the 47xx Enviro400s (on Trident chassis)

They started being used in July.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood

4570 BU04 BJJ has been withdrawn. Now tridents become joint least common bus type in YW as only 20 remain - just 4 months ago they were at 2nd most common.

It's perfectly fine just its tracking device is weak so most of the time it's a non-tracker as far as I'm sware.
