To be fair, I slightly forgot that these are 15 years old already, so yeah every chance that the repaint program wouldn't have been finished by the time these would be withdrawn. I think it's only just dawned on me that we don't have Tridents left for long  :'(
Still, some are quite tatty inside, caught 4550 at the weekend and the seats were very worn.

Are you sure it was 4550? Saw it today with very new looking grey seats. 4588 and 4592 are ones with dreadful interiors.

While on a rare Sunday afternoon trip to Solihull, enjoyed a ride on an E400 MMC on the 76 (sorry, forgot fleet number now, think it was 6144?), and spotted another one on the 6 as well.

Seemed to be a few double decks on the 6 today, which I presume is unusual for a Sunday?

I don't tend to see many deckers in the week either - only 1 or 2 usually.
The large majority of buses on there are usually Omnilinks or E200 MMC.

People should be looking for the y reg tridents and b7TL alx 400 not these things which litter the streets nowadays. Other than the branding there nothing special. Can't see the green working as well as the blue mind should the Hagley road receive green branding again.
