I saw it on the 6 this morning in Solihull at 09:45, still "proud to carry the passengers of Wolverhampton"
Was surprised to see "proudly serving the City of Wolverhampton since 1900" in Solihull.

Does anyone know if Yardley Wood still operate the journey on the 72 that leave Solihull at about 15:50?

YW 2/3 - 2230.

I'm not sure what is going on at YW garage recently, but while single decks seemed to be an occasional novelty, there does appear to be an increased number of them regularly appearing on both the 2 and 3 routes.

Which isn't so bad during the daytimes and later evenings, but double decks are certainly welcome during peak times, especially between Stoney Lane and city centre.

It's funny how this has all started since the big trident swap... It's almost as if they are now short of reliable deckers that actually work! The singles have been sneaking back onto the 49 and 76 too as well as the branded buses that have started going off route regularly (and of course the loan buses last week).
