I didn't say it was! (I should know as i live on the 59 route) i said one of the B5's that appeared on the 79 once came off the 59 route and was put onto the 79.

Trust me i see every bus every day on the 59 so i know Hybrids appear every day!

Having been round Alumwell a few times, how come Walsall didn't keep a few Solos to cope with the dodgy parking etc?

The optare solos are wider than Volvo B6 and harder to drive. There was a lot of issues with optare solos at Walsall more was off the road then on the road. Very unreliable vehicles always overheating, breaking down etc. They only lasted at Walsall 15 months. Glad to see the back of them.

Exactly. I don't live anywhere near Coventry and will happily admit I know next to nothing about Coventry buses

Not quite sure what the problem is here. 6013's statement was true, Hybrids are not unusual on the 59.

That wasn't the point i was making! I was refering to previous comments about hybrid buses on the 79 saying the first ever hybrid bus on the 79 (5510) actually came of a 59 board.

Or just dont mention WN hybrids in the unusual workings thread if it involves route 59 79 or 529, when one gets on the 28 or something then you can go wow
