Buses on loan

7028 went along Church Rd, Yardley this evening n.i.s., with a driver rather than mechanic driving. Buses doing this are usually running back to AG off the 71. Loan or transfer?

It sounds as though some/all of the remaining NX Dundee Omnilinks (7028-7033) could be moving from PB-AG, then releasing further AG B7RLE to BC. Only problem is, what is releasing the Omnilinks at PB? @John

I was thinking they may have gone with the introduction of the summer timetables

I will keep an eye out if we receive anything to replace them

Trouble is the numbers don't quite stack up i.e. 2115-2122 (8 x B7RLE) & 7028-7033 (6 x Omnilinks)

Looks like 7028 & 7029's move to AG maybe permanent as I bought a Daysaver off 7028 on the 72 this morning and it read AG7028 (instead of PB7028) on the top left of the ticket 7029 is out on the 71 or 72 aswell I've recorded a vid on board 7028 and a pic when I got off in Solihull I'll post links later. :) 7028 is on board 72/04

sensible use of the bus though as it would have Merry Hill, Wolverhampton & Via Dudley on the blinds, better than when PE lent 1686 & put it on the X96. That day it had to display Dudley or Stourbridge, neither of which were correct!
