Anyone know what Birmingham depot 2154 is destined for (the only red and white one) , I know 2155 -2177 are all for Coventry. Are all the 5410-5421 batch Hybrids in traffic at Wolverhampton yet and is 5512 back in service after the chav yob scum attack? Does anyone know when the Coventry batch (2155-2177) go in traffic and what route or routes they are gong on?

John

5512 is back out

I only saw branded Enviro400H out today on the 1.
The 3 I pictured were 5412/3/4. I also saw 5411.

the Coventry B7RLE's are going onto the 20s and the 9 I think

I wondered that too, it's odd that only one is being delivered in NX red... maybe it's for BC to cover for the B7 that moved to AG...

Why Pensnett? I would of thought BC or AG would of had it.

It could be going to PE.

Remember, due to tragic event, PE are short of an ENVIRO 400. Am not expecting that bus to go back to PE, and as its replacement does not have to be a double decker, perhaps 2154 could be used instead.

Only a thought??
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Well wouldn't they just swap 4816 with a bus from the garage it ends up as?

I did think of that to, and maybe they could swap it with 4830 from CV?

Yes because PE need more Deckers, not less and sending it to Coventry to coin a catch phrase (not all will get the expression) will surely keep it well out of the way of Birmingham and PE area routes

A swap between 4816 & one of YW's examples seems like a good idea, if it comes to it. Moving 4830 would require paint jobs on both buses involved in the swap, and CV's E400s are newer models than PE's examples
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Why 4830?

Just a thought, if 4816 was swapped with 4830 it would probably cause least problem with the numbering sequence., especially as it would be likely that 4816 will be renumbered.

I honestly don't understand why 4816 would change numbers. Members of the public wouldn't notice such things and although I understand why PE drivers would be uneasy with it being back, a transfer to another garage would stick out like a sore thumb to every enthusiast and garage staff as to why it was there. If there is so much bad feeling towards it, then it should be sold.

There are a number of different possibilities for 4816

•gets put back into service as 4816
•gets put back into service with a new fleet number
•gets sold onto another company
•gets donated to a charity
•joins the training fleet (not likely, but is a possibility)

Re-number and reg - back in service.   Problem solved.
