Partly replaces the Central Buses 19.

Yeah i all honesty i think it's ridiculous yes its brilliant for arriva but they should keep the old route i think

Justin Tyme

Reminds me of a previous Wolverhampton - Oldbury service over a not dissimilar route.

Who else is old enough to remember WMPTE 588 - previously 88 and before that Midland Red 880?  This was a peak hour service that I think disappeared in the cuts of 1980.  I did it once in its final years on a Cleveland Road Bristol VRT/MCW which I had virtually to myself!

Once it starts the discussion will probably ease off!

Bob

2154 also branded working the 214 today, didnt notice yesterday but there's also a £2 day return ticket on the route.

mikestone

Surely it mainly replaces Diamond 22?
;
Not that Centro appear to know they have changed the operator?

uniquicity

Wondered why I saw 22 on the bus stop flags around Great Bridge yesterday.

Is anything replacing the Dudley Port to Russells Hall section of the route?

I know, it's not on the list of changes on the NWM website. However on their own website, Diamond Bus do list the 22 as being withdrawn.

Yes, there was an advert in the E&S the other day advertising the route and promotional fare.
