?????

What's your comment for?

In Dundee they will be expected to put in a couple more years service, so vehicles in the best condition are chosen, Presidents in the West Midlands obviously have a very short life span

Just find it strange that Dundee get the best all the time, in the past why send the WA B7RLe's, surely the Omnilinks would have been better to send?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Now you're having a laugh

Dundee getting the best?

They have an average age nearly two years older than any garage in the West Midlands, and what makes you think Scanias would have been better to send than B7s?
There is no Scania dealer to get parts from anywhere near Dundee. The B7 sent to Dundee are the oldest possible buses, and these 'best buses' are chosen from a fleet due for scrap in the West Midlands within the next few months!

That just shows what they think of us .All these brand new buses for england and send the scrappers to dundee . :)

It would be astonishing if Dundee didn't receive any new vehicles in the next 12 months to bring the average age down - also, there won't be effective competition with Stagecoach with 20%+ of the fleet comprising pre 2000 vehicles. I would have thought the Presidents should not last too long - I could envisage all of these being replaced in due course - how about 15 new vehicles and 10 refurbished cascades (Geminis - perhaps Coventry's?). All guess work of course..........

I'm sure you'll get something new plus newer cascades next year, new/newer double deckers are the highest priority for requirements.

The NX/Centro quality partnership & B'ham City Centre SQPS have dictated where the majority of NX new vehicles have been allocated.

If you want more new buses encourage Dundee CC to sign up to quality partnership scheme or failing that you need to be nice to the allocator..... ;)

Your having a giraffe. Dundee gets cast offs from down the M6, nothing new (the recent lampposts are exceptions) or decent comes our way. The travelling public of Xplore Dundee are treated as second rate citizens, if the bus turns up in the first place!

Dundee had a decent batch of new B7RLE's in 2011, another 6 in 2012 & the 9 x E400H in 2013. It's just been 2014 & 2015 where little or nothing has been delivered new, it's Dundee's double decker fleet that is getting pretty old & in need of new investment
