thanks winston much appreciated as always ;) ps..tony's list is showing 5517/18 as route 1 branding....

That would be because they are route 1 branded, along with 5515/16

Thanks NX4737 for your image of a NXC liveried B7 single decker in the dreadful insipid livery inspired by Jimmy Hill.
I'll believe they are coming when I see one in the street and get on it. Mind you 2153 has pleasant dark red seats and is in another world compared with the clapped out noisy Mercs. It also doesn't have the awful grey interior on recent NXWM single deckle deckers.

Several are already built and painted in NX Coventry livery in Ballymena

Still don't know how to put quotes but to Tony, thnks for the latest on NXC's next E400 batch, looking forward to seeing them. Do you know if they'll have route 10 branding?

They are supposed to have a bronze coloured branding similar to the 21

I'm assuming the colour coded Coventry bus network map is an indicator of the colour of branding of further Coventry routes. This shows the 10 as a brownish bronze colour in line with John's note.

Slightly off topic but with the Coventry Omnilinks rumoured to depart some time this year, are they being displaced by new single deckers or is there a double deck upgrade planned?

danny

Methinks the plan is  :oto replace the omnilinks with b7rle's, and upgrade the 10 with the enviros, the omnilinks will then move to walsall, so i read on here.

Omnilinks will depart when the B7RLEs appear. It's my understanding that the B7RLEs are in the process of being built
