I was wondering that myself  this afternoon while I was out. The 77 must interwork with something as it leaves Walsall at *.50 and Sutton at *.30. If you caught it on the 41, then that's must be the other route it works on. The 335 and 19 also interwork

35, 41 and 77 inter work Sunday daytime, as do 8A and 335 with 41 joining the cycle in the evening.

19 is standalone.
