But then they also have less passenger traffic so running time can be reduced slightly.

I guess it goes the same for the 50.

The 40 seems to do well for diamond to be honest though passenger numbers are probably lower than on the NX equivalent

Solos seem to be the regular buses on the 424 now, from long Acre rather than Darts when VIP and Diamond (Tividale) ran it. Better seeing buses with serving Birmingham on the side, rather than the Black Country buses which looked out of place on the 424
