The value branded buses might look alright, but they are absolutely horrible.

30813 on the other hand is much nicer

They are definitely not dirty and not slow buses, don't forget the 301 where there mostly allocated to the road's are at maximum are 30mph so there never going to feel like an F1 car. I agree some of the seats at the back have been damaged but overall there decent vehicles. If the bus is travelling slowly on the 4H etc perhaps the driver is just keeping to time?

As I said they are horrible buses. The 301 can keep them.

@Matt, it could be worse you could have 20849 (KU52 RYH) on the 002!! Believe me that compared to those buses that your on about you'd want them over that everytime!! any Kidderminster driver will tell you 49 was the WORST one in the KD fleet it is immensly SLOW and it struggled to get up Station Hill so it'll have fun trying to get up Gorsty Hill!!

@Matt that and the 3 darts replaced all 4 solos on the route (this heat and the hills kill the solos!)

There were Solos on there earlier?? I caught the 8:50 off Dudley which was 20573

Must have been three solos then as I know 20605 and the cadet wasn't on their earlier... (my brother had at least two solos from what he said)
