Happens quite a lot now, its duty 1080 which does the 16:42 Merry Hill to Weoley Castle and the 18:20 Merry Hill to Halesowen before running private to Blackheath to do the 19:15 127/205 combo to Wallheath.

Went on it, appear now and then, very comfortable, seating a bit weird, with the two seats facing each other on the back. Think it was 20274 it had interior which I did not recognise

Yeah, 20274 looks to have had a simple conversion from London two door spec. 20252 isn't as nice as a similar aged MPD...

Yes it would of been 20252 thats a beast I'm glad it's still around I thought it had left :'( thank god I can tell my mate now
