Question: Does the 11 in Wolves have a usual bus? because on saturday I think I saw pretty much every type of bus WN own on there

B6LE out in force today at WN.
Couple more days yet before we get unusual workings posted, it hasn't really settled and they're everywhere.

saw them pretty much all over the place on saturday

Well i usually see Mercs and spectras but B6LE have been appearing lately. B7RLE are the main allocation on sundays

1434 was heading up the Newton Road at around 6pm this evening out of service so might have come off the 51 at the Scott Arms.

Not sure what it is about 11's but if I remember correctly the 11A/C used to get allsorts on it years ago also!!
You can get anything on it at anytime B6/B7/Trident/Spectra/Excell/O405N
They also use Tridents on Sundays which interwork with 32/33

The 11 doesn't interwork with the 32/33 anymore. The 32/33 intetwork with the 79 and thats why the 32/33 get tridents on sunday. I think the first 11 into the bus station from underhill on a sunday is a trident which goes onto the 32/33/79.

Am i right in thinking it shouldn't have operated into the city? Plus how do they get away with the presidents on the 1?

No, 1434 shouldn't be in the city on the 51, but the Presidents on the 1 are OK as the Town Hall is not within the SQP area

No, 1434 shouldn't be in the city on the 51, but the Presidents on the 1 are OK as the Town Hall is not within the SQP area

Ok it must have been 1431 and was heading to West Bromwich to start it journey on the 4 no need for the exclamation mark Tony everyone makes mistakes  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and the interior of 1434 was virtually spotless despite having been on the 51 for 10 hours. No ingrained dirt, no worn seats and all the plastic around the front and wheelarches looking very clean. There were a few sweet wrappers floating around the floor, but visually it gave a very good impression for such an old bus.
Definately better than anything at Cannock other than the latest VDL/Wrights

Shame when it went over a bump one of the windows sounded like it was going to fall out.

How did it manage to get away with being on the 51 for 10 hours, can understand it if it were covering for a journey for a breakdown, did Walsall have nothing left?
