Lots of unusual workings all round today while ticket machines were sorted.

Every bus in the fleet had to have either a replacement ticket machine fitted, or be parked close enough to its home garage wifi to be reprogrammed. This was done in 3 ways.

At West Bromwich where i was helping stocks of reprogrammed machines were taken to the bus station and replaced during short layover, while buses with a longer layover were taken to the overflow park which has wifi and the machine reprogrammed that way.

Other garages including BC sent any spare buses to the city centre, changed with buses in service which were then taken back to the garage within wifi range
a 75 this morning I was on 5:09am had broken machine lol
Something to do with invalid configuration or something?

Would explain why the 313 driver this afternoon wasn't issuing tickets - thought this was just a single bus problem at the time though!  ::)

The 29/301/302 always seems to get quite a few female drivers on it along with the 4 also at Walsall and the 40 at West Bromwich to name a couple of services. Which is good to see.
