4 - 4691 suspect it replaced 6021 which expired in the Burges.
Completely off topic, I must say how amused it seemed that the bus expired.

I saw a Merc on the 13 at about 16:30 today. Not sure if this is normal or not.

Thanks Lauren re 4894

Yesterday: 1634 was bus on the 4 which replaced 6016 which failed on its first trip.
The 13 was 1572 as mentioned before this is the last 13 out and there appears to shortage of double deckers.
Indeed some workings failed to operate in peaks.

I hope that the management are extremely worried about this situation and are trying to get buses in to cover.
Drivers must also be annoyed if their shift is cancelled when there is no vehicle available for them to drive!

No, it will be the driver with a large gap in front of him who gets a lot of grief through no fault of his own who if anyone will get annoyed.

They still get paid weather or not a bus is allocated. Annoyance is the last thing a driver would experience!

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

1869 - 33E ;)

Well that's definitely unusual, given that that route doesn't exist!
Was it maybe just not in service, or did the driver have an irrational preference for the old route number?

Oops, cheers Rob it's back where it belongs on the 9/A today.  6013 is back out on the 4 today with shiny silver wheel trims!
2/3 - 2177
12 am peak - 2157 B7
16 - 2176
23 - 1591

Lauren has inadvertently put a NX WM unusual working on the wrong thread, I've put Coventry unusual workings on the Arriva thread when new to the forum. Headers need to be changed.

Liverpool Street are you willing to change the Unusual workings headers to avoid these mistakes?

Better? It should also automatically edit new "Re:'s"

I deliberately posted 1869 as she was once a CV bus! I will never forget her time in coventry, I had some right laughs on her last year with my friends :)

She is refering to NXWM PB 33 so that working should posted in the NXWM Noteworthy Workings thread

Could somebody reiterate as to why there is a double deck shortage?

I did post it in the nxwm thread as well, but I wanted to post it here seeing as 1869 was a cv bus!! And I put a ;) for that reason!
