Nathan there is a regular Solo working on the X15 that departs from Coventry at 11:00 am each weekday morning. I don't know if this is the one you photographed.

Plenty of unusual workings today caused by shortage of double decks with 4424 and 4210 away for refurbishment.

The shortage of double decks persists even though 4424 re-entered service after refurb.

Ye, it was around 11ish becuause i remember getting the train around 11:30, But to me it looked rare as ive never seen a solo in Cov on the X15

I often see it when having a late breakfast in the excellent cafe in Trinity Street that opened a few months ago.
The 10:02 and 10:32 X15/X18s are double deck as they are much busier depending on the weather with OAP free pass holders who come into the city on the first bus after 09:30 to have a day out in Stratford or Leamington Spa.

A Warwickshire liveried Solo was used one day this week on the working.

Still short of deckers resulting in some workings being cancelled.
