The best Voiths are the BU04's at Wolverhampton, if it's speed/performance that you judge by. The best ZF's are of course the 54's and selected 53's

4541 and my favourite 4609 in particular;)

4575 seems to be the fastest Voith to me

Not sure why but coventrys tridents always seem quicker may be just the way there driven

I suppose we should be grateful they stopped with the new engines when they did in that case!
As long as the BV52s went with it I'd be happy, it Would certainly throw some variety up seeing BC's fleet in Kings Heath once more :P

Indeed! Always was a pleasure seeing the old 42XX's on the 50 with Lynx's on the 27/35 with MkIIA's on the 11 with the odd Trident scattered over the High Street. Good times.

Anyway,

Anyone got any idea where 4140 is? Struggling to find it. Is it at Walsall for obviousness?

4140 is still at BC, drove it twice in the last 5 days

It's on the 24 today, complete with mega side for Pacific Rim.

4139 was having something done to the offside today, I presume it was losing its UWE megaside and getting a different one

Have I missed something here?  :D What are AG getting in return? I suppose more Presidents from YW!  :-\
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I wouldn't think so, otherwise one would have gone from Yardley Wood straight to West Bromwich, unless it is part of a larger group of transfers to happen

Unless it's part of the master plan to tidy up blocks of fleet numbers across the various garages.

It would make sense.

Maybe this'll be the time when 4218 gets back to its own city. Over here stealing our mileage and taking all of BC's benefits (hahahaha)

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I hope 4218 never return to Coventry garage again. 4218 should stay in BC garage or transferred to WB or WN.
I'm dislike double decker! I love a bendy buses!

Don't ask to me about Double Decker and only talk me for Single Decker and Bendy buses.

Ouch!  What did it do to upset you so much?

I think it's very likely to go to WB to be the only one of its type there.  Either that or stay in BC garage for good.  Bad 4218.
Don't you start.

Ash

I doubt tridents will be introduced at WB even though some drivers have been type trained for when they were going to enter service on the 74 this got changed and were used on the 79 at Wolverhampton instead. I would expect more presidents to replace the R and S reg mercs at WB and guess the presidents will be used on the 83/89 and 48/49.
