And 4574

How can WN spare 6 buses for transfer (4 x E200's & 2 x Tridents) without any Platinum's entering service?

Especially if the platinums aren't in service by next Monday when tue pvr rises again.

reduced PVR during the school holidays - actually 7 (same number as the 16 plate Platinums); 4148 has gone to BC;

Same as they provided several V Festival buses

Oh, thought some of the reduced summer Pvr had been taken in account with 4565-7 moving to YW & 4602-5 to WA. Lost track.....

Where are the buses that are being displaced by the arrival of the Platinums at WN heading?

There's been a few transfers already. Buses from WN to BC, YW, WA and CV

Saw 4132 on the pumps at BC tonight (1st Sept). Not sure if transfer or not.

I'd have thought that BC wouldn't gain any extra Y-reg Tridents, I expect them to be on the leavers list for BC

I suppose BC will keep the Y-reg Tridents untill they can no longer be used in the city centre, but from my point of view I like them, so I will welcome 4131 and 4132 with open arms. They are smooth, the heaters are good, they drive nice. They are no slower than an E400, in fact some are quicker pulling away.
As Tony said a few years ago when 4177 was refurbished, most passengers thought the bus was a lot newer than it actually is. They are solidly built and have stood the test of time.

Shows how much I know then.... must surely only be temporary due to next years emissions restrictions

WA must of had more than just 4600.

As they've release 6 buses in the last 24hrs i.e. 4131/2 - BC + the aove 4 Volvo/ALX400's.

Wonder if these are early candidates for disposal one BC starts getting new buses.

4131 and 4132 are also only a handful of early generation low-floors that have only ever been allocated to one garage since new.
