There's 56 still in service as of today

West Bromwich garage seems to be a popular destination for displaced ones currently... I wonder if any will come back from Dundee short term?

With 96 platinum buses due, i'd imagine most if not all president transfers are all very temporary.

I would think so, plus I'd expect to see some early Tridents enter reserve unless any extra work i.e. schools / contract work is found to employ additional buses

Having said that the current changes possibly are in advance of and take account of some new deliveries but as fewer vehicles are required until the schools go back, some can be done now.

I also would expect some Tridents to fall by the wayside but possibly only a limited number - the fact the first 40 or so are at garages receiving new buses shortly also seems to suggest this may be possible (although cascades of some of WNs huge batch of 75 45xx/46xx as well may reduce the scope for withdrawals). Will be interesting to see.

The B7/ALX400s, especially some of our local PB ones, are looking increasingly scruffy - I wondered if the critical mass of the Trident fleet may work against the Volvos, and some of those follow the Presidents into reserve and razorblades.
Don't you start.

I would sincerely hope so. The 65 and 67 in particular are a disgrace at the moment, full of the damned things. I bet if somebody looked at the numbers that the 67 has declined since the bendys went and these knackers went on it.

With the Bristol Road getting Platinum's for 961 or 963 I would of thought that they would gain some of the bk63, don'the know the pvr for the Bristol Road services. What are the ex cv gemini going to be used on?

The two ex CV Gemini's are going to PB after paint, no doubt to release older B7TL/ALX400's from PB
