I think it'll be a while before the 09 Enviros get a refurb - although it would be good if the red could be repainted. There will still be a large number of the 2008/2009 and 2010 NX repaint Geminis and Tridents to refurbish. Some of the Tridents at YW which were just repainted in 2009 etc. are in a very tatty state now internally.

11 x 09 plate E400's have already been refurb'd last year.

Is this the 48** series? If so: 4801,4806,4808,4822,4826,4827,4807, 4805 what are the others?

Yes, they are they the only 09 plate E400's in the fleet.

4816 was the bus involved in a very sad thing that happened on the Hagley Road, so was transferred to YW as 4799. We tend not to mention it on here!

Sorry missed the second bit, think it was repainted to be shown off at some exhibition, doubt it was refurbed though. The PE Enviro 400s started to be repainted as they were going to be transferred to YW in exchange for some of the 47xx batch, but the plan was changed and the repaints stopped.

4800 was repainted and refurbished for an exhibition bus, as the 09 Enviros were the newest Deckers NXWM had

I definitely have 4800 down as a refurb, I would have only have got that from something that Tony had posted i.e. it's seats were at Miller St etc

4800 was used for some launch and I'm pretty sure it was refurb'd to as new condition? There's easy way of telling which E400's have been refurb's internally unless you travel on them frequently

4800 is an anomaly compared to the other repaints because they finished it properly, as in they reapplied (or masked off) the black window surrounds, and the black below the rear downstairs window, i.e. as delivered condition. It's a shame they didn't pay the same attention to detail on other E400 repaints.
