Will keep eyes open. Hopefully they venture onto the streetly's soon ;)

The big difference with the ALX B7TLs is the Voith gearbox, of course.

4259 now at Walsall and out on the 6
as reported elsewhere
4140 now at Wolverhampton
(Which will confuse some, as it wasn't on the list on facebook! That list was not the most up to date one done)

That list also did not include 4803/05 in the Enviros moving PN-PB in March

Interesting that they are not moving the buses in one big block (except for 4817 of course). Lately NE don't seem to like having odd buses dotted around. Maybe its an indication that the rest of the 09 Enviros are not going to last to much longer at PE either?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Apologies, may have missed this in another thread but where is it confirmed that 4803/05 had moved or will be moving to PB? I'd also assumed it would be a continuous block of numbers moving, although given the desire to keep vehicle types at a minimum at most garages, I also wonder whether the remaining 7 Enviros will stick around at PN for long.

Do PB have any buses that could be exhanged for the last few 09 Enviros that are at PE i wonder?

Could do a 3 way swap with Tridents from Walsall going to Pensnett, and Perry Barr losing some more 42**s to Walsall.

Is there any reason why we are transferring 42**s out to Walsall rather than Geminis? Just curious

The only reason I can think of is to balance out the ratio of ALXs to Geminis
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

I would think its to maintain a balanced vehicle age profile at depots - looks like 4125-4140 Tridents are moving to Wolverhampton to replace Spectras.

@John - As a driver, which do you prefer out of the PB ALX's or the Gems? Just purely out of curiosity. I should be getting my start date at the actual driver training (just CPC theory to go in a few days) so I think I'm starting to get excited haha.

I'd imagine the plan is for Walsall to lose all its Tridents and Geminis once all the new deliveries are in.

It's got to be the Geminis. The cab is better and also better acceleration. 2 things I don't like about them though are the position of the cash chute as the wayfarer blocks most of the view of it, and some jolt when you start to use the brakes to slow down
