I think it would be good to turn this as suggested into a circular... with the inclusion of the Q.E.
My suggestion:
Current route -- Maypole - Alcester Road South  - Yardley Wood Bus Garage - Kings Heath - Stirchley  - (Then on to the QE via Umberslade Road, Raddelbarn Road, Bournbrook Road onto the Bristol Road, then the new road to the QE) - (Then on to Selly Oak via Aston Webb Boul) - Bournville (then current route to) - Northfield - West Heath - Hawkesley - Bells Lane - Maypole...

How would you extend the 35 Nathan? From Hawkesley to Northfield, and then have the 27 run Maypole to Northfield?  Sounds like a good idea.

I'd Extned the 35 From Hawksley - Northfeild High Street. Via Current 27 route then amended 27 to only operate between Maypole & Northfeild High Street - Looks and sounds quite profitable
