Service 38 is most frequent in London

http://www.londonbusroutes.net/times/038N038.htm

I thought the 453 was the most frequent

During the day, Mon to Fri, the 453 is every 7 minutes, ( 5minutes peak hours),  the 38 is every 3 to 4 minutes (2 to 3 mins peak hours)
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

NXWM seem to have reverted to branding unrefurbished/not new buses which is a shame. The branding is good but it does mean that the 50 doesn't seem to be in line for new buses any time soon. Also, did anyone else notice the 3 tridents on 50E's to the Maypole-?NXWM responding to green bus

On that note, I passed 4474 branded for the 97 today...could they have found a scruffier bus to apply high profile new branding too?? All the refurbishments coming out at the moment and they picked that??

I think it would have been better to quickly repaint/refurb a batch and then brand it as opposed to putting branding on tired buses

Probably because it had a mega side Kelloggs advert applied

It looks the same as the 51

That's my view too. Both routes operating into the city centre with the branding not too different as well as having similar numbers could cause some confusion to anyone whos not travelling with a brain!

Or someone who is drunk and waiting for the 16 home, seeing a blue branded 50 and thinking "didn't know the 51 came down here as well, ok, i'll get that home then"
(not guilty of that yet, but i see it happening....)
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Slightly off topic but did anyone on here happen to notice which branded 50 it was working the 19:06 from Kings Heath to Town last night? Would have arrived into town at 19:26 and probably left as the 19:32? Would be grateful if anyone spotted it!

John

Ones I saw branded today are

4746, 4747, 4749, 4751, 4752, 4753, 4755, 4760.

Here is 4746 with the normal branding on the offside

It may have been a good idea to give the YW Enviros a front repaint in the latest shade of red as an interim measure, prior to applying the branding, thus eliminating the faded red/pink (maybe even to have sent them out to an external sub contractor for speed). Replacement panels are now very noticeable, as are the new NXWM logos applied with white backgrounds, I'd have thought clear ones would be better option on older vehicles so the background around the fleetname picks up the existing shade of white. John's picture of 4746 in highlights this issue.....
