If Diamond do decide to re-launch Day Return tickets on the 16 and the 50, will NXWM respond?  The NXWM Day Return ticket on the 37 route coupled with the introduction of the Scania single decks may have been the reason for Diamonds disappearance on that route.  NXWM did have a summer fares promotion on the 50 about five or six years ago when a special day return fare was offered (at the time I recall the 50 was using ALX 400's and Petes Travel was the competition.

NXWM still do the return tickets on the 37, even without any competition on that route now.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

...and the vast majority of pupils travelling to and from school use the scheduled bus services provided by the likes of NXWM rather than Green Bus....
It's a garanteed source of income and some of their routes come from far places which would involve interchanging E.G rubery to st pauls for girls, Harbourne to Queen's mary walsall
