Not happening according to causeway one.network. The only roadworks indicated on the road are multi way signals on 20th July.

Re: Darlington Street Wolverhampton

Although not listed on the TfWM website, the closure of the above road between Chapel Ash and Waterloo Road in the city centre has been extended to October 2025 from the original reopening date of 5th July 2025.

This is due to emergency repair work needed to be undertaken by utility companies and the strenghening of cellar walls.

97/97A (& 14?) on diversion today due to road works (new road markings?) on Tile Cross Road. 97/97A going via Chelmsley Road/Cooks Lane (& assuming the 14 went via Gloucester Way & Marston Green* earlier, although back on normal route by 14:15).

Nothing to be found on the NXWM site  Service updates | NX Bus West Midlands , nor on affected stops regarding this.

* Assumption, nothing physically noted. Only realised the 97/97A was on diversion when passed by a few when walikng down Chelmsley Rd.

They rarely bother to mention diversions in east Birmingham/north Solihull.

Of course, everyone knows that the South African Nazi's platform is the only outlet, can't imagine how I missed that then...

If only NXWM could advertise such disruption on other social media platforms. Maybe they could consider doing something so radical as, say, placing relevant information on a dedicated page on their very own website

Now there is Roadworks on the Walsall Road in Darlaston between 9th and 15th July so the Walsall Road services are diverting Darlaston Road, Manor House Road, Park Lane back onto Walsall Road.

Trying to think if the trees down behind the back of IKEA and the Retail on Park Lane or Manor House Road would make it difficult for Double Deckers to go down there. I don't think they will but they usually do this work during Half Term where Double Deckers ay being used on the 34 and 37

For the 28 towards Heartlands at the fox & goose that small stretch of Alum Rock Road is closed up to where it joins the 14, has been closed for several weeks now I think.
Diverting Stechford Lane, Burney Lane so taking same route in both directions at the minute.

I did try to see if this one was mentioned on nx twitter but couldn't find anything & it doesn't seem to be marked on the one network map either. Anyone know what the likely duration for that closure is?

It is actually difficult to trawl through any social media to find relevant diversion/disruption info.

While having such information on individual operators' website is undoubtedly useful, you still have the same problem of having to look in multiple places to find what is relevant to you.

What is badly needed is some kind of 'unified' platform, such as the TfWM app/website, where everything can be in one place, and you can filter updates by route/area.

I know TfWM has its 'Disruptions' service (https://disruptions.tfwm.org.uk/) but that is not always entirely useful, as that still relies on operators notifying TfWM, and then someone at TfWM making the effort to publish the details. 'Live' disruptions have often finished long before I get any notification by text/email.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to QE Hospital | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Some of it's 'incomplete' & 'not joined up' at times. (See my past comment about the Willenhall diversions, where not all the services concerned are listed.)
