It's not Coventry getting buses or the order in which garages are done. It's the timeline involved. Some of these BYDs at YW and PB were sat around in storage for months because of the time it took to install and turn on charging units.

Coventry managed to get all their BYDs in service within a year

Not sure, it doesn't show if it terminates there, but there's no other location on that map that the 96 went elsewhere other than the stop on sheaf lane

It is showing that it terminates at the Wheatsheaf Pub, junction of Hobs Moat Road/Coventry Road.

Circling from Corvedale Road via Melton Avenue, Hobs Moat Road, Coventry Road, Lyndon Road.

Then Thurlstone Avenue, Wagon Lane, Barn Road, Lyndon Road, Ulleries Road, Moordown Avenue, Castle Lane, Ulverley Green Road to Olton Station, then up the Warwick Road to Acocks Green.

The 96 was an Igo service & before that diamond I think.
 Thurlstone Road/Ulleries Road is today served by the 631 (previous A15/S16).
The S16 started of as a minibus service run by Igo using vans running on Friday only I think iirc
