its most likely to test how EVs are going to do on the 110 considering the type of route it is being a long distance interurban route with basically every possible type of driving on it, city, motorway, town and country driving.

iirc there already are EVs ordered for the 110 as part of ZEBRA but those are electroliners as far as i know.

this is the arriva seed vehicle that was at leicester before.
Not entered service yet, probably no one realised it needs a charger to make it work.

It has entered service, there's a picture of it on FB with passengers disembarking....

If your going off bustimes for this information that it hasn't entered service, then its wrong. It's been out tracking as the spare ticket machine.

Typical Arriva can't even get it tracking correctly

its been out all week, been on it twice last week, nice bus tbf but just has some little passenger experience issues in my opinion such as the upstairs opening windows being extremely loud (and powerful!)

Typical Bustimes spotter.

Surely if you want to find something you look on Bustimes first to see if it's out before wasting your journey.

Nothing to do with Arriva. When a bus is transferred to another depot, the ticketer machine doesn't go with it. Once the new machine is installed into the bus, it takes a while for it to realise what bus the machine is attached too!
