Quote from: Simon Dunn on May 31, 2025, 05:46:14 PMI am not aware that MCV Evoras provide an electric version.  The last conversation we had with Volvo, was around buying 67 buses for Tranche 1 in Manchester.  Volvo signed an order, and then refused to deliver to the agreed order.  I am sure you can understand, our hesitation around any future relationship after that.

So - No.  Volvo were never under consideration.

If people do not deliver on their commitments when you are spending £10 million, what hope do you have?
Well done, I wish more operators would take similar action. Volvo, of all people should know that a good reputation can be easily lost.

Quote from: Simon Dunn on May 31, 2025, 05:42:41 PMOverall there are too many buses in Burton.  We will remove a few.  In addition, PVR will drop when the DRT PVR reduces by 1, and the Branston Bridge re-opens.

15010 has already moved from Burton to Redditch.  Redditch has a 1 PVR increase on a TfWM DRT scheme from Monday.
Will the 22 still have a sprinter on it or will a E200 be ran on it now?

A lot of our decisions now are heavily influenced by National and  Local government.

We have New Mellor's on order - due July for Eccles.  This is a TfGM requirement, and we need  narrow buses for the route.

We have 7 x New E200's MMC's coming for Preston Bus - as a result of Lancashire County Council contract tender awards.

We will order another 9 electrics for Burton as a result of Levelling up Funding / ZEBRA2 funding.

Moving the bus out to Redditch will not impact the allocation of buses.  As I said - we have a PVR reduction on the Lichfield DRT scheme.

Burton has more than enough buses to cover  service.  As the electrics go in, we will continue to remove buses.

Why would we there move a Solo to Burton, which would be the only vehicle of its type.

What is happening with Prestons 30501?

I think a solo would be better for service 22 the a sprinter.

I am currently on MetroCity 30995 on the 9 and there coolant leaking at the back and it's dripping everywhere.

We will investigate this - thank you for bringing this to my attention.
