The single fare increase will bring single fares into line with the National fare cap imposed by the government.

Is there a coincidence that they gave drivers a pay rise the other day and now there putting up fares or was this planned before

NXWM fares are some of the cheapest in Britain, in many places day tickets can be £7 for slightly longer distance journeys

London is known for its "cheap" fares, but the cap is £5.20 yet the extremely bright and intellegent people of facebook are saying 40p will price them out

people probably spend more than 40p on bags they already have
Wow, just wow! How do you know what people can and cannot afford? Not everyone's income allows increases in bus fares, grocery shopping and bills, so that, in my opinion is very disrespectful.

Granted, NX fares MAY be some of the cheapest in the country, but that means nowt to a someone earning national minimum or living wage, and (reading some of these posts) as little as a fortnight's notice.

Let's assume that fares increase by 50p per journey;

2x journeys a day over 6 days (5 work and one shopping day), that's an extra £6 per week, £24 per average month, totalling £288 per year.

We may not all have your (assumed) disposable income, but for thousands of bus fare paying passengers, it will add extra strain for those on a limited income.

Perhaps a little more kindness in posts would help.
Autofare 3 - the ticket that laughs in the face of contactless!

Utterly disrespectful post. Hope you don't ever end in a bad situation and you're struggling to travel on a bus, which I can imagine a lot will be now!

Even for a single journey that has completely thrown me off, I'd get an Uber/Bolt at a near similar price.

Can already imagine they are putting the Direct Debit up as well, joke. The best thing anyone can do is get a car at this point. Much more happier I don't have to commute on NX anymore!

It'd probably be cheaper annually to pay insurance and road tax + MOT than to pay £3 everyday for £5.20

I mentioned about drivers wages and the increase in fares and was told that TFWM set fares in the midlands
