Hi Simon,
I have noticed the following issues with your BODS data and I hope you can resolve these.

West Bromwich 4 needs route description updating to show West Bromwich (currently shows Walsall - Blackheath)
Dudley 5 Mon-Fri wrongly shows as running to Kingswinford Cross rather than to/from Market Street (Saturdays work, just Mon-Fri that's a mess)
Kidderminster 7 After Broadwaters Drive missing Greenhill Hurcott Road Crossroads (2000G583516)
Kidderminster 10 swap Kittiwake Drive to other side of the road (correct stop wocgtgdm)
Bearwood 21 has a typo on the route description (Should say 'Oldbury' not 'Olbury')
Merry Hill 24H towards Halesowen you need to remove Blackheath Henderson Way (stop no longer exists)
Dudley 25 has the wrong timetable for from Monday.
Dudley 27A towards Dudley, missing Parkfield Dudding Rd (43004840501) & Dudley Wolverhampton Street (43000876001)
Dudley 27A towards Wolverhampton missing Blakenhall, opposite Grove St (43000707302)
Walsall 31 towards Mossley, Mon-Fri & Sunday trips have the wrong stand in Walsall Bus Station (should be Stop D 43000601101)
Walsall 32 towards Walsall Saturday & Sunday should show as terminating in the bus station at Stand E (43000601102)
West Bromwich 74A has the wrong route description. Should show as running to Dudley Port not just Dudley.
Dudley 226 towards Dudley swap Five Ways nwmjtpwg for Venture Way nwmdjtjp.
Dudley 226 towards Merry Hill on Sundays remove Dudley Vicar St nwmtgwtp
Dudley 226A towards Dudley swap Five Ways nwmjtpwg for Venture Way nwmdjtjp. For some reason Sundays run from stand H at Merry Hill but Mon-Sat run off stand A
Kidderminster 292S missing school day only dates and 'serviced organisation.
Routes 13, 14A, 24H and 231 need stands in Halesowen checking as these seem to be linking to the wrong stand.

Evesham 540 07:34 from Evesham after Ashton Under Hill Cross missing Cottons Lane (2000G073101) and Cornfield Way needs moving to after the academy. 08:36, 10:11, 11:11, 12:11 and 13:11 from Tewkesbury after Ashton under Hill Cornfield Way missing Ashton Under Hill Wood Lane (2000G671004). 15:46, 16:46, 17:50 (M-F) & 1846 (Sat) from Tewkesbury missing Beckford Village Hall (wocgdtpm)


Further to this. A number of routes have 'revision number errors'. All routes on the same registration should have the same revision number for each operating period. Current routes affected are:
Kidderminster 4/4A/9A/9C/9S.
Redditch 52/52A
Stourbridge 242/242S
West Midlands 17A/17H/17S/57

Finally for BODS data, a number of West Midlands routes are missing or have incorrect OTC/WM registration codes.
Kidderminster 25A, Tipton 42, Dudley 223, Wolverhampton 27/27A, 57, 63 & 64, Bearwood 20 & 21, Perry Barr 54/54A & 61/61A, Merry Hill 142/142A.


Somewhat unrelated to the above but I ask why are some routes registered so strangely?
Dudley - Stourbridge 17 is registered on it's own, but the 17A & 17S (which supplement the 17), are linked in with the 57. Also in this registration is the '17H' which has absolutely zero relevance to the 17A, 17S or 57 routes. Has there been a mistake here?
Similarly with the 226/226A, it is registered with the 74A. There is not a single connection point between the two routes and they couldn't be more separate. Why are these registered together?

Just a query but ive seen people saying the magtec plaxton centros require diesel to run. Is this true or are people just lying?

The vehicles do not need Diesel to run.  They do have Diesel heating systems

How long is 20872 in Preston for? Travelled on it tonight, what a scruffy bus, display doesn't work. Route number on a sticker in the window. Driver not in uniform. Wrong livery. Completely unprofessional and a far cry from the old Preston Bus days when we had a bus company to be proud of.

I have not seen the vehicle nor driver.  I have asked the Management team for their thoughts. 

On the fleet point, in the last week, we have sold 15 vehicles across the north west.  11 are in Preston.  We are in the process of moving 2 nearly new E200's from Manchester and we have agreed to buy 3 new E200's from ADL.

The PVR at Kidderminster requires around 7 buses to operate schools.  This is why they are kept in service at the depot.  The reality is, because they are there they are sometimes used across the services were they can.

There is no plan to reduce at present.

21204 - front destination not working , side and rear ok.  15004 only shows Worcestershire on Demand when working in Bromsgrove area - which if course is better than a blank display !
