There's been another bad smash on Yardley Wood Road this evening down by the Swanshurst Lane island - apparently I've seen a couple of comments on my local Facebook group that someone crashed into a bus on the 11C?

She must be a few marbles short not to realise about the CCTV, bet she had no win no fee/free solicitor who's not much better, fair play to Stagecoach could have taken the easy option and they've got their costs as well, if their lucky.

The same principle applies to car dashcams. Most passengers don't realise the human and commercial cost of such claims (which I've posted about previously).

I can't imagine the stress that the driver was under throughout the subsequent investigations, and the time (well) spent by Stagecoach to exonerate the driver and themselves. 

I agree that the sheer ignorance and stupidity of the claimant is trly unbelievable, and hope that the costs she has to pay bankrupts her.

You'd be surprised how many of these chancers there are out there.

Had a drunk passenger tell me she was going to sue and that I need to be careful with brakes after she fell... when I took off from traffic lights! Thought she wasn't serious about it until the company called me for details about the incident because she tried to sue! Obviously she had zero leg to stand thanks to CCTV
