In Willenhall Lane why is there a southbound stop adj to Binley Ind. Estate but no corresponding northbound stop opp Binley Ind. Estate?
The siting of bus stops/shelters is subject to objections from local businesses and/or residents as well as safety concerns. So it could be anyone of those factors. It could also be that buses only run or originally ran in one direction only. Like all infrastructure bus stops have to gain planning permission.

Thks. It's has always been a 2 way route AFAIK. Interestingly both stops are showing on bus times.

Looking at Google, there hasn't been a stop there since at least 2008. My only guess is that they didn't want to put a bus stop across people's driveways, and the closest parts where they could do that was either opposite the other stop (not really suitable on a narrow, busy road) or too close to either corners, where the next bus stop was just around the corner.

The bus stop on the 2008 snap is showing a service 100. Can anyone remember where that went?

On Victoria Road in Darlaston by the Park there is an old Brick Bus Shelter that the local Councillor has appealed to clean of Graffti as it's owned by TFWM, there is an old possibly pre Centro Bus Stop Flag still on the bus stop that has a route number 6×× and then there is a another Stop flag on a lamppost on Station Street by some Terraces with the same route number on, I have no idea what route served these or where they ran to, and surely they Brick Bus Shelter has to be a rare kind, Was that what they used to use as a Bus Shelter before the Centro Style Green and Yellow and then Nbus Bus Stop Flags style came about, If TFWM own it then it must be years old.

Taking a guess, without access to my maps, the 645 & 646?

Those ring a bell.

If I remember I'll look later.

Thks. Like you say there are stops either side not too far away. I went for the stop opp Harry Weston Rd which works for the NXC 13 but in recent times the SC 60 has been rerouted towards WSP so no longer calls there.

Not sure about the 100 service. A good while back there were some minibus services introduced on this side of the city by WMPTE. There used to be a 44 (I think?) that went up to Asda in Walsgrave. There was another that occasionally went from Ernesford Grange to the station.

The first time I have it on a map is 1993, and I reckon it's the 645 Darlo to Princes End via Wednesbury originally.

Operates via Kings Hill & the Myvod to Wednesbury, then to Princes End via Leabrook Road & Farmers Way.

But it does change over the years, with the 646 being rerouted at some point.

Unless I have my bearings wrong on there it looks like a 325 possibly ran down Station Street to, that bus stop has been like that then for longer than I have been alive, many old routes there that interest me but would be appropriate on the Old Routes thread, Didn't Chase In more recent times I say recent maybe 2007 run a route from Bentley to Wednesbury that could have gone that way, Nothing else serves that part of Darlaston Well the 65 goes past the Police Station and the Swan to terminate at Stand DC at Darlaston where the 79 to Wolverhampton serves, I always thought maybe a route to Wednesbury could serve there so maybe the old 38, to save it having to turn around at Darlaston which at School Times and at general times can be congested, they could have sent the 38 from Walsall Road down Station Street passing the Post Office but at the same time Darlaston's shops are mostly at the top of town so Asda, Heron and the Libary.

I had put them on the Old Routes thread before, but wasn't sure if you'd seen them last time.

I checked this today and like the FD the X2 is on printed timetables on stops. Not on the flags.
