I'm pretty sure it's not a "five minute job", and involves a bit more than just wiping the outside with a duster! :rolleyes:

At a guess, if these exhaust traps are anything like DPFs (diesel particulate filters) used in modern exhaust systems, it probably involves removing the unit from the vehicle, then soaking it in a chemical bath for an hour or so, before rinsing it through, letting it dry out and then reinstalling it to the vehicle.

I imagine it takes a bit of time to remove and refit the unit, and if so it's a good few hours work. Just for one bus, then multiply that by 200...
