Quote from: leicesterbusadventurer on January 31, 2025, 12:53:28 AMIt gets worse. The DB250s and B9TLs still had their poppies from Remembrance 2021 on when they finished service here.
I actually think the poppies are one of the few things that it's acceptable to leave on. It is still a mark of respect no matter the time of year, and doesn't look out of place the same way redundant branding or adverts do.

Quote from: Mayfield on January 31, 2025, 07:49:38 PMLet's boost customer experience by replacing 2 year old buses by 16 year old sheds which almost certainly won't be repainted due to age and can just trundle around in a pointless defunct livery just like the Sapphire one.
At least they're supposed to just be temporary until the electrics for the 127 and 5/5A arrive (that's what I've heard anyway). Bit silly Arriva couldn't just wait until these arrived before sending off the 72 plates though!!

Also I've noticed that a lot of the vehicles with full-sized rear displays (that show number and destination) have just been showing the route number as of late - I'm assuming this is because someone loaded the same set of blinds on all vehicles, without bothering to attention to the size of displays actually fitted in the vehicles. Y'know, the Arriva way!

My youngest brother took a ride on 1910 today and found a seat headrest downstairs with the Sapphire logo on, fitted back to front!

I'm not sure so take this with a pinch of salt but I thought I saw DM01-BD heading north on the A500 near Stoke this morning, and according to Bustimes it last saw service 31/01

Wright Streetdeck Electroliner 8026 was recently seen leaving Wrightbus's factory in Ballymena according to a post on Facebook.

Interestingly they have opted for the corner windows this time which is nice to see! Not sure why they skimped on those last time round, Streetdecks are far better with them.

Quote from: 47609FireFly on January 29, 2025, 12:59:51 AMI stumbled across 1904, working a service 127, in Quorn at about 1740 hours on 28/01/2025 and I think poorly presented tat is the best way to sum it up. Side destination sign not working, rear route number sign not working, exterior nearside rear lower corner panel bent out of line and exterior offside rear lower corn panel held on with a bit of riveted plate. Utter dross.
1900 & 1902 have arrived
