Yep, it was often saw the Presidents and ALX400's too. Pretty sure it went up South Road.

That's correct it went up south road, only 2 buses on the route however so no danger of both buses meeting on south road

noticing omnilinks have started appearing on core DD routes again quite a bit recently, seen them on the X3,4 and 14 and the 16 in the past week.

The worst has to be on the 7 on Tuesday evening when Aston Villa were playing their European match.

They are common on the 16, 52 and 65/67 mainly.

Why is Perry Barr using single deckers on a Saturday? There can't be a shortage of double deckers as the PVR is less on Saturdays !

It appears that a number of running boards on weekends are now allocated as singles 17 scanias were on double deck routes yesterday with 12 today. As this now seems to be the case I wouldn't class any Scania on any route as noteworthy as it will now be the norm. How long for though is anyone's guess 🤷

Sorry for the reply so late, wasn't there single deckers on there after? I remember their Citaro demonstrator going on there for a little while

I think it is due to decrease in passenger numbers on weekends as people would rather take their own cars than public transport. Same goes for Sundays too.

They were using Single decker Scanias on the late nights tonight on the 16/X4/X5/X14/907,So I'm guessing it makes sense to use the single decks on the quieter late night runs as well.

Walsall seem to sometimes use single decks on the late night 51's as well and they seem to manage fine from what I've seen to. 2122 is on there tonight.
Local Routes

Single decks are being used on weekends as the boards haven't been changed to accommodate an electric bus range. An Electric bus would not be able to complete the board and most likely run out of power.

This should be corrected either Saturday 7 or 14.

During the week several boards return to garage 1300 with another going out to replace it.

Has the weekday PVR increased to accommodate this? How many miles can an electric bus do without needing a re-charge?

Looks like Saturday boards have been adjusted for December 7th. The range looks about 8-10hrs

X4 02 leave garage 0523 back in garage 1212

Last service Falcon Lodge 1144

X4 22 leaves garage at 0956 returns 1950.

Buses are often switched at termius throughout the day. More buses and running boards needed wondered why not many scania withdrawal.

They don't run on a couple of AAA. Most fully charged vehicles can do a full day in service.

And if the range of the NX buses is only 8-10 hours, they need to send them all back as they're faulty!
