So NX are in charge of the old 10A and maybe providing the 8 Timetable

Surely it would have been cheaper to put some sort of generic signage on the shelter itself?

Non service specific.

I assume it was a Marketing effort but now it is outdated

One for Walsall 'experts'.

There's been 2 stops northbound at what is now Rycroft Street since the year dot, as far as Im concerned.

Until several years ago, the arrangement was one stop for the Blakenall services & the other for the Leamore services.

Nowadays, there is one stop for the 29, 31 & 32 & the other one for the X51.

Why change the arrangement? Surely the 31, 32 & x51 could still share a stop?

Was there any reason to change where everything stopped in Merry Hill Bus Station or was that just to pointlessly confuse everyone? Wasn't anything wrong with how it was before...

Been here 20 minutes and lost count how many confused elderly people I've seen...

There's probably a logical reason for it, possibly to eliminate conflict in bus movements but why do you single out the elderly when many others would be confused?

And why are you jumping on a bandwagon? The only people who were confused that I saw was elderly people, not a very good look to swap everything without any reason to.

No-one should be confused, as far as I am aware, notices were clearly put up and all stands show the correct services.

As for the reasoning, I did ask Phil Tonks about this on X and this was what he told me:

So, it wasn't just done "for fun".

They have put a temporary bus stop on lights by summerfield park and suspended the city rd bus stop towards Birmingham for no reason as nothing blocking it for 82/87

Suspended for highway works to be carried out, not "for no reason".

@Westy @Rachvice53 may know this but wasn't there a stop on the 529 route that mentioned Stow Heath Lane if so I believe that has been renamed. I used to say if the 79 got delayed and It was quicker to get the 529 to maybe get the 529 or the 79 was unable to get to Wolverhampton I could get the 529 to there and walk down Stow Heath Lane.

Also with this outage of Microsoft are the Bus Information boards affected. I know they use Windows as when they failed at Darlaston you can see the Blue Screen of Death or are they still working. If they have failed I assume maybe a coded message says please refer to timetables
