Will the 96 Intake a new route then?

BK63 YWP

QuoteIf anything, the X21 should be renumbered 21 and these Merry Hill runs numbered 21A.
But does the x21 have a quicker running as it has X in front of it?
The Funny sounding Enviro 400

The reason its called the X21 was because it went limited stop from University to Birmingham. but that got changed a month after the route became a thing.

Would make sense to renumber the 002 to 21 so it fits in between Bartley Green and Merry Hill.
A U prefix could also make sense maybe U21/U22
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

A U is unnecessary. I doubt the 002 would ever be renumbered whilst Diamond operated, but if so there are other numbers that are available, 25, 26 etc.

The main reason for renumbering the X21 as X21A doesn't look right.

It's an all-stops service other than missing one stop on Bath Row that the 80 serves. The X is mis-leading.

Then there'd be 2 25's at Merry Hill.

U21/21 or X21/21 would make more sense than X21/002 I think. As other than the bit between Newman University and Weoley Castle they should be the same route.

X21 and X22 should be 21 and 22 for what it's worth of those bothered them having an X in front of them. Could even remember the journeys to Merry Hill as an A or even 21M.

Why wouldn't 002 make sense? It's been running for years, pretty sure it's well known where the 002 goes.

002 is fine.

So is the X21 but apparently it needs renumbering...

Actually I said if either needs renumbering it would be the X21 in response to someone else's comment about renumbering the 002.

Yes people know where the X21 goes too but it is getting a variation whereas the 002 isn't. 21/21A would identify the two different routes on a Sunday better than both being called X21 similar to the 16/16A.

I never said it had to, it was a suggestion. There's no need to be snarky.
