QuoteAs it's been confirmed by Simon Dunn that Diamond have lost the daytime operation of the 96, it makes me wonder if it's going to return to Perry Barr from October.
Does stagecoach have any chances of operating it

They probably do tbh as I believe they are trying to operate more routes within the Birmingham area so it is of course likely

Nobody considered Landflight for the 96? 👀

Hope its nx its already unreliable enough under diamond lmao

Also id presume the tender requires full size singles since diamond runs 11.5 lites and pulsars almost exclusively on it and at peak it fills them too, and rugby doesnt have any full size singles unless they get e300s or 200mmcs.

There's no specific Vehicle Specification for the 96; only Euro 6.

The diamond 96 is mostly streetlights the occasional pulsar is used though.

Actually didn't think of them tbh would make sense I guess as they could have driver changes in Chelmsley unless of course they had it interwork with the A10 in Chelmsley that's if it still runs to Chelmsley that is because it did do the last time I knew

It'd be brave for Landflight to do that route. Do they have enough buses? I know they have enough drivers but are they willing to do it (if they get the route)
Your new favourite 61/63 late night driver 😂

There's a majority of 48xx E400s not being out since the end of July.

That's not even a month, do you have nothing else better to do but stalk PB's E400's.

Aren't the Enviro 200s capable?

They would be, I don't think Diamond are doing a bad job of the 96, they've done quite well.

Well if you mean they could be used on the 96 they can't because of the low bridge in Erdington this is why deckers CAN'T be used on the route

Jack

It's about time the 16 and 28 swapped stops at the Scott Arms, drivers have agreed it's an accident waiting to happen. With the 16's long layover and the 28's reliability having buses having to reverse to park up on a main dual carriageway isn't very safe at all.

Owen

Will the orange 16 branding be swapped to to generic red in preparation knowing it's future is to be stretched over to longbridge
