Or just because WB have the second highest number of Euro3 buses to oust, any Euro6 buses they can get will help and 6965-6967 fit in with their existing fleet.

The whole purpose of the current series of transfers is so that non-Euro6 vehicles can be withdrawn.

At this point in time, its not really about upgrading particular services - Tony knows what needs removing, what is available, and where best for those vehicles to go.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Presume 45s are getting more problems now due to ages wear and tear as I've noticed lots of black smoke coming out of a lot of them

If you mean the exhaust smoke that's usual, they all used to let out smoke before they most of them got traps...

As Tony has said somewhere non compliant buses that need money spending on them will die.
come September there will be PVR increase to the 87s board count so more bags of shite (platiums)  required
