Just a question regarding the 6 02 tridents that are Walsall based. Are these vehicles euro 6 compliant? Or will they be retired before May in a few weeks time or can we expect to see them well into the summer.

I'd like to get a ride or two on them before they retire!

They're not Euro 6, but won't be retiring before May

Sorry for the very late question, and I couldn't find any conversation about this, but why did so many of WA's E400s move to PB?

Wasn't it because the 14 was becoming decker or because Walsall now had hydrogen buses for 51 so didn't need as many 48s

I think it was so the 14 could have euro 6 buses.

The 14 already had euro 6 buses. All the 44XX Gemini at PB were euro 6 and also the 14 has been double decker operated for a very long time.

Probably was just that those 48XX were surplus to requirement at WA.

But i looked on bustimes today and literally none of ex-WA's 48XX were doing the 14. They were all on other routes. There must be a different reason

They're used on any Perry Barr double decker route. Like most deckers at Perry Barr are.

Yes I can read. And you'll find they do operate on the 14 yes. PB double decker on a PB double deck route.

They did and that's why the E400's moved in to displace them to AG and WB?
