X51 is shocking today. No 14.42 to brum from Cannock no 15.12 from cannock so what a 90 min gap and thats if the next one bothers to turn up!

I had a look at that checker that's on the website.

Seemed to be a problem at various parts of the day with the Bloxwich Road services including the X51!

I finished work in Willenhall around 320pm.

(It's Friday & I'm not hanging round!)

Apart from the 529, none of my other options are departing till around 4pm, so I'd have half hour to kill otherwise.

Seems to be everytime I use the 529 on a  Friday afternoon,  when I get to Walsall,  I enter a sea of passengers crowding round the bus stop, while the Bloxwich Road services seem to disappear into a black hole!

Last Friday, the only one that turned up was an X51 & even that was roughly 15 mins late according to the drivers machine!

It was horrendous, 3 old ladies ended up going and getting a taxi

This is annoying.

If things run to plan, 3302 will be caught by my sister from Wednesfield in a few mins back to Bloxwich.

That's twice she's got on certain Walsall vehicles without even trying, & they never appear at times or journeys I have to catch! :(

Ive heard Rumours earlier that some Walsall Routes will have a reduced frequency from the end of November due to driver shortages ive heard the 29 possibly be reduced to every 15 minutes but just like to get peoples opinions on this or get confirmation

Surely it's only the 'frequent' routes that could be reduced further, like the 31 / 32, or does it's status as a partnership route protect it?

What about the 4 group for instance?

If Diamond stay on the route separately, maybe you could get away with reducing NX slightly.

Let's hope there would be enough double deckers to ensure the seating reduction isn't as bad.

Obviously some routes/duties would have to continue to be single deck, due to low bridges, but maybe the 'rule' that prevents Walsall double decks running into Bradford Place would need to be looked at, perhaps re-routing the 36 & 39 away from Bridgeman Street included?

What about the 77, is it used much it in the Erdington area. As the 77/77A together have a half hourly frequency.

77/77a is a TfWm tender, so unless they say it can change, it won't!

several drivers from westbrom garage have gone to walsall to help out with the driver shortages, the 3 hours a day travelling time pay every day has nothing to do with it, westbrom has drivers at central garage too on same deal to.
