I have never thought about this before. Is this allowed? A passenger got on an NXC decker this week with a folding bike. Looked quite big to me and I think it fell over inside when the bus was going round a corner. What do the rules say?

Scooters were banned recently wasn't they?

Wouldn't they be a similar item?

Then again, scooters were banned because of the batteries!

Non-folding bicycles are not permitted on board. So that means that folding bikes are acceptable, presumably as they take up less room.

OK thanks for the useful link.
I see there is a space limit to the no of pushchairs carried but not for the folded bike.
