New Perry Barr Garage site is currently being used to park more buses for the Commonwealth Games. So far I've seen stuff from Go Ahead London, Reading Buses, Newbury & District, Stephensons and Newport Buses. First Kernow and People's Bus are parked at The Green Bus Miller Street site too.

More to add from Flickr should anyone be keeping a list of what's in use so far....

10660, 10728, 10803, 10806, 10807, 10824, 10834, 10872, 10908, 10911, 10926, 10930, 11121, 11147, 11221, 11223, 15343, 15708, 26010

Most seem to have been taken around the Aston University area (Jennens Road, James Watt Queensway and Moor Street Queensway, also have seen pics taken on Woodcock Street). Also seems Edgbaston Park Road and outside Birmingham International station are other decent locations.

I'm heading down tomorrow for several hours so hopefully plenty more to report....suspect the numbers will go up considerably more once the games start proper....

10926 was part of the convoy containing 10925 and 10929 that came south down the M6 on Sunday. I overtook them at J16, as 10925 nearly pulled out on me getting out of the slip road for the A500.

Incredible sight yesterday afternoon with buses parked nose to tail all the way from Masshouse down Jennens Road and Nechells Parway down as far as Bloomsbury Library. Must have been at least 50 of them. All in readiness for last nights rehearsal at Alexander Stadium.

Steven Knight Media has a list of what I assume is most of the Stagecoach fleet in Birmingham at the current time (481 vehicles), it's updated regularly https://docs.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=http://stevenknightmedia.co.uk/onewebmedia/CWG%2520Fleet%2520%2520Version%25203%2520%2520%2520%2520C1857%253A03%2520%252027_07_2022.pdf&_r=3

Only one bus [S28MBC] but also 10 coaches from the fleets of Berry - Taunton , Chalkwell - Sittingbourne and Acklam - Beverley all on Park and Ride from Bromsgrove Railway Station car park earlier today. I was told they were shuttling to and from the hockey games. The bus was new to Reading Transport as YN08HYM. And looking at my notes again ,it appears that was of the "Berrys" coaches was on hire to them from Roselyn - Par. Hope this is of interest.

A Go Ahead E400MMC (looked like it may have been a B5LH), on the Monkspath shuttles with its rear number plate hanging off the rear bumper.

Another one of theirs appeared to be having some technical issues on Lode Lane yesterday evening.

Their fleet looks very battle worn too.

Due to be refurbished for the 91 and N91 in February. They were previously used on the 135 until May.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

Wasnt sure if this is for this thread or bus accidents thread?
Bus damaged in Coventry late pm 31 July and seems to be a commonwealth games service? Apparently loads of ambulances turned up.

Anyone have the bus details?

Apologies if I've missed it being mentioned but all the buses on the Stafford Tenterbanks - Cannock Chase shuttle today had MR(S) discs and legal lettering.
Not sure quite what was going on but one noted disappearing down Doxey Road and another passing the front of the station with passengers still on and turning into the other part of Tenterbanks.
