Why would the 14 have to become single deck?

Potential HS2 works causing a diversion under a low bridge.

Any idea where 1952 is, seems to of been off quite a while now.

Inside Perry Barr garage?

Like other OmniLinks, either surplus to requirements or in need of repairs, I would imagine.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Just had a question from a 'friend ' on Twitter.

He's heard a rumour that the X3 is being curtailed Brum to Hill Hook only.

Is that right?

Is this to do with the 14 going Single Decker?

PB2938

Yes 14 single deck. I believe PB have already started route learning drivers.

I hope it's just a rumour tbh, it's bad enough it don't run on Sundays for me but I would urge NX to not cut it. Without doubt it's my fave NX route, it's a lovely journey from Hill Hook to Lichfield. Last time I used it was quite well used.

Does that mean the 52 will be solid Deckers then? Because currently there's enough for all the Single Decker routes including the 52. The 52 has started seeing Deckers again more regularly this last week.

Can the 14 not use double deck Gemini?
As the route hasn't changed from City Centre to Chelmsley Interchange and frequency not increased? Seems strange.  Until the Saltley Viaduct closes anyway.

Someone said on here it isn't closing for another year or so I think.
Also the 2 94/95 boards that come off the 839, will these do the 14 from September instead?
Local Routes
