Bear in mind TKF withdrew a lot of London commuter routes, so there is probably spare vehicles around.

Why? No point in buying an operator when you have a large garage you can just move your own coaches into.

Absolutely.  I hate to imagine how many "spare" coaches operators/dealers have countrywide.  My next question is has any decision been made to what brand names the Aston based coaches will carry ?  To the average local customer , the names Kings Ferry , Lucketts , Mortons etc mean very little in this part of the world.
